Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
The TOEFL test covers all facets of English proficiency, including a test of spoken English. Educational Testing Service (ETS) is the creator of TOEFL. More than 6,000 institutions and agencies in 110 countries rely on TOEFL scores to select students with the English skills needed to succeed. TOEFL is mandatory when students want to study in Canada, North American universities and colleges or British universities or work in Britain.

More than 6,000 institutions and agencies in 110 countries rely on TOEFL exam scores as proof of English proficiency. IBT or Internet Based TOEFL lasts for 4 hours and is conducted all through the year. The TOEFL Internet-based test emphasizes integrated skills and measures all four language skills, i.e. reading, writing, listening including speaking. Each of the four language skills are reported on a scale of 0 to 30.
     
The Test has four sections  
  It consists of two 25 minutes sections and one 20 minutes section and includes :
     
» Reading measures the ability to understand academic reading material
   
» Listening measures the ability to understand English as it is used in colleges and universities
   
» Speaking measures the ability to speak English in an academic context
   
» Writing measures the ability to write in a way that is appropriate for college and university course work

For the Internet-based test, students receive four section scores and a total score
  It consists of one 25 minutes essay, 35 minutes multiple choice questions, which includes :
     
» Reading (0-30)
   
» Listening (0-30)
   
» Speaking (0-30)
   
» Writing (0-30)
   
» Total Score (0-120)
   
  TOEFL scores are valid for two years from the test date
     
  Eligibility: Minimum 10 + 2
     
  Class Frequency: Flexible (One and a half - three months)
     
  Duration: 2 - 3 classes per week x 2 hrs each
     
 
Students will be made to take actual Computer Adaptive Tests and practice sessions during the course. All study materials, software, paper based courseware are provided to students.
