Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

GMAT is a standardized assessment delivered in English, that helps business schools assess the qualification of applicants for advanced study in business and management. Business schools use the test as a predictor of academic performance in the MBA program or in other graduate management programmes. It is a multiple-choice test for applicants to business schools. This is mandatory for students who want to pursue a Masters degree in Business Administration in the reputed business schools all over the world. The test is administered by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

The GMAT is a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT). It consists of three main parts, the Analytic Writing Assessment, the Quantitative Section and the Verbal section.

Two types of multiple-choice questions are used in the quantitative section of the GMAT exam:

Scoring Pattern
Your Verbal, Quantitative and Total GMAT scores are determined by a complex mathematical procedure that takes into account the difficulty level of the questions that were presented to you and how you answered them. The total composite score is out of 800. Your analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) essays are graded on a scale of 0 to 6. There are two essays, each evaluated by two readers (one human and one computer). ETS averages the four scores and rounds to the nearest half point. Your AWA score does not count towards your composite score.

Course Duration (3 - 4 months)
Total course duration is 4 months. Being a "flexiduration" course, it can be availed by students from a minimum period of 90 days to a maximum of 120 days from the date of enrolment. One additional month of "hand-holding" if required 2 hrs per day / 2 days a week (as per students' choice).

Students will be made to take actual Computer Adaptive Tests and practice sessions during the last few weeks of the course, when found ready for them. All study materials, software, paper based courseware, TOEFL materials and TOEFL coaching are also included in the course.
